Doesn't ambiguity decrease perfection?

Since scriptures such as the Bible or the Qu'ran are ambiguous in their meaning, and must be interpretted to be properly understood, doesn't that mean that they are imperfect since they can be improved upon, eg. using clear, descriptive language rather than metaphors or parables?
