Is this a good idea for a poem/song?

so i had the idea of "stop, drop and roll" for a poem and i wanna know if it's a good idea before i write any more. like a fire as a metaphor and you have to stop and drop everything to get out of it. i dunno i told my friend about it but she didn't like it.. maybe some more opinions? it's okay if no one else thinks it's a good idea either but i wanna know before i write it :P
