Should i have broken up with my girlfriend?

k heres the story. i was in a relationship for about a month with this girl. then a couple of days ago...one of her friends said that she was talking behind my back...saying things like: hes so annoying and stuff like that. so i talked to her and asked her why she did that. and i got: well i never liked you in that way and i didn't want to tell you cuz i didn't ant to ruin our friendship. i was a bit crushed. then later she said that she really did love me and that she only said that i was annoying once! and that shes sry and she loves me. AND now i just found out that the best friend that told me all of this has had a crush on me for a wile. and i dont know who to believe anymore. i think a few other opinons might me of help. did i do the right thing? should me and my x get back together? what should i do about her friend? omg i uno...please help
